It won’t surprise you to learn that in a previous incarnation, Aimee was an award-winning editorial photographer. Her carefully crafted images have appeared in Arizona Highways, Phoenix Magazine, Native Peoples, Sunset and Outdoor Photographer, to name a few. In 1999, the prize money Aimee received from Transition Abroad magazine for her photographs of the Ecuadorian Andes financed a working adventure in remote areas of Guatemala. Over the years, her work has also taken her on an exploration of the French Pyrenees and a near-death experience in Canyon del Diablo, Mexico.

“ Aimee can go where most are not allowed - because she is not intrusive, so the people trust her. Which is important when approaching different cultures with a camera and an idea.”
- Angelo Joaquin / of the Tohono O’odham (the desert people )
“ My first impression of Aimee and still remains; she is a very professional and talented person.”
- Ned Dunnington / Skydiver
“ You’re a fine photographer; a true natural...that’s why I’m giving you this first assignment with us, but don’t blow it.”
- Gary Avey / Editor of Native Peoples Magazine
